Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Nurse Manager and the Chief Nursing Officer, the Registered Nurse plans, organizes, assigns, implements and evaluates direct nursing care provided to assigned patients adhering to the patient's treatment plan and the nursing standards of care.
Qualifications:
Nursing Degree from an accredited college, university or associate degree program or diploma from a nursing diploma program; current Pennsylvania registered professional nurse license required.
Must possess a current certification in BLS, ANA Certification in psychiatric/mental health nursing preferred.
BLS required, must be completed prior to end of orientation period.
One year of nursing experience preferred; one (1) year psychiatric experience preferred.
Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills and the ability to express ideas in a clear, concise and legible form; ability to organize and prioritize multifaceted workload; knowledge of legal implications of practice; ability to work independently; exercises tact, diplomacy and good judgment at all times.
Job: Behavioral Health / PsychologyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
