Under the administrative supervision of the Clinical Supervisor of the designated program, the Drug and Alcohol Technician maintains a safe and therapeutic environment; provides direct psychosocial and clinical care to assigned patients in both individual and group settings; assists with the implementation of the program schedule in accordance with the patient's individual treatment plan.
High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree in a behavioral science or counseling field preferred; attends and participates in continuing educational programs to increase awareness of changes in the profession.
A minimum of one (1) year experience in the human service field is preferred; internships/field placement experience acceptable.Substance Abuse Center
